Join A Skilled Trades Role

We are currently offering a rewarding opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our Wingfield-based production team. This full-time, permanent afternoon shift ensures not only job security but also career growth. Training will begin on day shift (6am–2.06pm), and then you’ll move into the standard afternoon shift (2pm–10.06pm). You must also be available for call-outs and any overtime when required.

Because you’ll be working with both existing and new equipment, the role is ideal for someone motivated and proactive. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will take ownership of plant operations while contributing to a high-performing team. Therefore, you must be capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Maintenance Fitter Duties

As a valued member of our production maintenance team, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Ensuring optimal equipment uptime

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance

• Ordering and stock control of spare parts

• Assisting with project and diagnostic work

• Working towards high-level KPIs

• Ensuring compliance with SOPs

Moreover, through structured systems and clearly defined goals, you’ll be helping to maintain both performance and safety across the entire facility.

Technician Skills

To be considered for this position, you must hold a Certificate IV in Mechanical Trade. While not essential, a restricted electrical licence is highly desirable. In addition, experience in fast-paced manufacturing is required.

You will need strong problem-solving ability, as well as solid diagnostic skills. In fact, your ability to meet deadlines safely and communicate clearly will be key to success. A high work ethic and teamwork are expected, since collaboration is vital to our culture.
