Plastipak Lanka Expands Leno Mesh Bag Manufacturing Capacity

Pope Packaging 1 min read

To support growing customer demand, the Pope Packaging Group’s in-house manufacturing facility, Plastipak Lanka, has invested in a new high-speed laminator and two automated bag conversion machines.

The upgrade increases leno mesh bag production capacity by an additional one million bags per month, strengthening Pope Packaging Australia’s ability to support customers with greater capacity and reliable supply.

The new equipment delivers 33% faster lamination speeds, with advanced three-extruder technology providing greater efficiency and process control. Automated bag conversion and real-time machine monitoring will also support consistent product quality and manufacturing performance.

This significant investment marks another step forward in expanding the Pope Packaging Group’s in-house manufacturing capabilities and delivering the reliable supply, quality and service our customers depend on.
