Terms and Conditions Overview
When you place an order with Pope Packaging, you enter into a legally binding user service agreement. This service agreement outlines the supply of goods and services and reflects our full service terms. As a national packaging manufacturer, we aim to keep our contract terms clear, fair and up to date.
Note: This page provides a summary only. Please download the full Terms and Conditions PDF for complete legal details.
Quotation Terms of Use
Each price estimate stays valid for a set period and follows our current trading terms of use. When ordering customised or non-standard products, we may ask for upfront payment. If you need to make any changes, please confirm them in writing so we can approve the variation before production starts.
Payment Policy Under the Service Agreement
Our quoted prices exclude GST, freight and design fees unless clearly stated. Under our current service agreement, payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date. If payment runs overdue, interest charges will apply. For more details about your rights, refer to the Australian Consumer Law.
Delivery and Risk Terms and Conditions
We deliver directly to your site or arrange pickup, depending on your preference. Once goods are dispatched, ownership and risk pass to you immediately or at the end of the service agreement. Therefore, it’s essential to organise suitable insurance coverage as soon as your shipment leaves our facility.
Returns and Warranty Terms of Use
Please inspect all products as soon as they arrive at your site. If you notice any damage or defects, let us know within 48 hours so we can resolve the issue promptly. Our warranty, which forms part of our service agreement, applies to faulty goods and covers repair or replacement where appropriate. Because custom and non-standard items are made specifically for your order, returns are only accepted if the product is proven to be defective.
Liability and Intellectual Property Terms
Pope Packaging complies fully with the Australian Consumer Law and outlines clear responsibilities under our terms and conditions. You must hold the legal rights, or obtain approval, for any branding, logos or designs you submit. We retain intellectual property rights to any artwork we create unless otherwise agreed in writing. You’re permitted to use those assets as outlined in the agreement but may not reuse or share them without written consent.
Cancellations and Disputes
Pope Packaging owns all supplied artwork unless we agree otherwise in writing. You must hold full rights to any artwork or design you provide. If a dispute arises, Victorian law governs the process, and we will actively enforce all relevant terms of use to protect our intellectual property and agreements.
